Feather Duster lost feathers

Hello,
I transfered 3 feather dusters from my old 29 gallon reef tank to my new 100 gallon tank and noticed that a day or so after one had lost all his feathers. I did read in a book that they may loose them from poor water quality and changing tanks could give it a reason to loose them I guess but is this normal?

They'll eventually grow back.

My last one lost them becaase of bad water quality, It died later so yours may be one death roe, but they usally take a couple weeks to grow back

I also heard they can loose them when they are going to mate is this true?

Thats what I ment just came out wrong lol.

They come back I thought mines died as well when the feathers came off it will take a week or a week an half depending on the duster.

is there a way to feed a feather duster? i want to put one in my nano, but not sure if he will have enough food.
