feather duster molted feed or not??

should i feed him while he doesnt have his feathers?? he molted last week and i dont want to throw phyto into my tank if he's not going to be to catch it. after all, he is the only filter feeder i have in my tank.

he didnt molt, feather dusters will drop their crown when stressed. make sure someone isnt picking on him and check your water parameters if everything is okay then just wait awhile and his crown will grow back, but dont feed there's no point to it right now if hes missing his crown

They dont molt same thing happend to mine feathers came out because the yellow tang was nipping at it give it time it will come back out. Mine came back out bigger then the first one took about 4 weeks.

You don't really need to feed feather dusters in an established tank. If you are worried he is hungry, just put about 5 drops of phytoplankton in per week... that is plenty of food.
