how long do i need to acclimate? the site says 3+hours but this seems a bit excessive...thanks in advance

30 min should be fine. Longer if your water paramiters are really different from the water it came in.

okay, thanks... this saves a lot of time, dont think my girlfriend would like to sit in the apt for 3 hrs until i can put a worm in the tank on V-day
 
Feathers usually do fine if you just temp acclimate them but you can add some of your tank water, wait about 15 minutes and repeat and you should be fine. I have 8 dusters and I have always just temp acclimated them and they are all doing great.

Just a suggestion, dusters are filter feeders and you may look into getting some Kent Marine Micro-Vert or PhytoPlex to supplement your tank. If you only have 1 your tank is probably ok on it's own but if you decide to add more, those 2 supplements will ensure plenty of food for them.

just send the pic from your cell to your email address, then save to comp. easy as pie
