feather duster

i recently bought a feather duster for my tank and now my yellow tang seems to be nibbling on it and 2day i saw one of its feathers floating on my tank is there any way i could stop it. i thought the yellow tang would be the least of my worries on biting on it

May have been some algae around it

its dosent look like it . and 1 more question my shrimp just molted should i take out the excess skin?

It doesnt matter, what ever you want to do
