Feather DUsters secreting slime in tank

my feather dusters sometimes secrete some kind of clear slime. it looks like co

ebs in my tank. when i scoop up the 'co

ebs' its like a wad of clear slime. what is this stuff? is it dangerous for other fish?

can you post a pic of them secreting the slime? i know some tube dwelling snails will secrete a "slime" to use as a sort of fishing line to catch food.

I've seen cleaner wrases do this, but never feather dusters???
