Feather dusters?

I think I have feather dusters on my live rock. I did a search on this site and it sounds like that's what they are. I have seen feather dusters in pics and at the lfs but these are tiny white worm like things (that I thought were fossils) with a feather like head that pulls back in when a fish swims by or when I look too closely. I know they are filter feeders and good to have but how fast do they grow and is there anything I should be doing to help them out. I have about 6 or 7 of them that I have found so far. Oh, and my tank is 1 month old.

I have good water flow and quality but what should I feed them? I want to increase their chance of survival if I can...they are cool but so tiny. How fast do they grow? and how big?

We have now found at least 10 or 15 of them in the tank..it's cool!

ive got alot.. none have died if anything they have all thrived and there seems to be more and more of them.. and in my little tank the ones in there have grown to about double the size as when they were when the tank was started.. both fairley new tanks. ive always found them pretty hardy

Hopefully I will have the same kind of luck that you did. If they were big enough to capture with my camera I would post a pic of them....maybe when they get bigger I will be able to. (by then I should have figured out how to make my pic small enought to post on here)
