Just out of curiosity, does anyone out there know how feather dusters (and/or clutsters) reproduce? and what do the little guys look like?

The female expos4es her eggs and males let loose sperm into the water. The babies look just like mom and dad, only smaller and without a tube at first.

bonjour from montrel,
can u tell a female from a male?
can they, or would they breed in captivity?
wouldn't other fish, inverts & crabs eat the newly born babies?

How do you know the difference between feather duster sexes? I have more baby tubes in my tank than I can count
and I have not had any fish or inverts eat them. However, I had a few die (they were attached to a piece of live rock) because of algae growth.
