Feather Dusters

Hi,
I have had my 55 gal tank set up for about 9 months now. I have damsels and a clown fish, hermits, snails, coral banded shrimp, cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp and horseshoe crabs. I just got a couple of feather dusters and put them on the rock when I put them in the tank. They keep falling off the rock and the hermit crabs are dragging them across the sand. I am assuming this is not a good thing and have put them back onto the rock. Is this what I am supposed to do? Do they attach themselves eventually? Also, I would like to get a couple more fish, but am not sure what I want. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Debbie

you can bury the end in the sand, or put rock work around the tube. I have a bunch of rocks surrounding the two I have and they have attached themselves to it.

I used to have a ton of the small feather dusters, once I put the Peppermint Shrimp and the Emerald crab in they are all gone.

I kinda wedge my feather dusters in between the LR then after a while they will attach themselves, its just hard getting them to stay in the rock.
