featherduster question

my featherduster dropped it's feather
It then would come out of it's tube for a couple days and now it's not coming out.
Not sure if it has died ?

Sometimes they "blow" their heads...it takes about 2 weeks for them to come back with a new one

I have not seen the worm peeking out of his tube. I think I will have to check to see if he is still in there. It's been 10 days, so i'm hoping it's just staying in the tube to grow the feather back.

none of my featherdusters have, but my coco worm did this and it took less than a week to grow the one crown back and longer for the second to come back

I'm thinking he may be dead. I can't see any sign of him in the tube.

I thought that about my last one...it took a good 2 weeks for the feather to come back out....
Is the tube attached? Or are you able to pick it up?
