Featherduster?????

It seems like I notice something new everyday in my tank. This morning when I was feeding I noticed this very tiny tube sticking up out if the sand and on top it had what appeared to be a wispy feather flower head. Do featherdusters live in the sand?

Sounds like a feather duster. They can live pretty much anywhere in your tank, live sand, rock. I'm always finding little feather dusters on my rock and occasioanlly some close to or in the live sand.

I've got them all over my back & side glass & even in my wet dry.
