FeatherDusters grow out of LR?????

Do baby FeatherDusters grow out of LR?
I have have had my new LR for about 2 months.
I noticed a small white crystal like thing, then it started moving
I stared at it very close and noticed it has the shape of a feather duster.. or so it looks like it may have if it grows....
I have attached a pic of it.
Anyone know anything about this please reply.
If this is NOT a good thing, please let me know that too.
And if NOT good, what is it?

I think they are good, I think they are feather dusters....I have some omn my rock as well....my LR is about 2-3 weeks old.

No pic so I couldnt see it. If they are feather dusters they are fine just filter feeders. The small ones I have are hard stony white tubes and then there are clear ones and red ones.

I kinda had alittle of the same thing on my LR right when i first got it. Just a couple. But IMO i don't think they are dusters. I'm not sure what they are or if they are good or bad bad.

The Feather Duster is a great addition to any tank. They don't require any care and are great to watch. A worm lives within the tan tube of the Feather Duster, and this worm carries a colorful "crown" of feathers. These feathers are pushed up throw the opening of the tube and act as a catching device for food, which is collected by the worm's mouth at the base of the feathers. The worm uses the tube as protection and will quickly pull in the feathered crown when it detects a predator. The Feather Duster can be placed on the substrate or into your rockwork. The Feather Duster will attach its foot and remain stable once placed into the aquarium. Straight from saltwaterfish.com

IMO I think feather dusters are kewl. I have 2 and I love watching them. They don't harm anything in the tank.
