Feedback on good filter

Well guys I am narrowing down my lights, skimmer and powerheads but dont know where to go with the filter/ There are going to be 2 #3 koralias in my 55gal. Should I go with canister or HOB? Anyone have suggestions and names?
By the way this site is a wealth of info! Thanks
