ok, so I have had a LTA for about a month now, but over the last three feedings, I have a Tomatoe clown that is really making this a chore. All of the sudden this little guy LOVES raw shrimp. Everytime I place any in the LTA, the fish plays tug of war with it over the shrimp and always wins......how can I prevent this fish from doing this?

Stop feeding the LTA. An un-necessary chore if your lighting and water is sufficient. If you goal is to still feed the anem, feed the clown first then give the anem its food. IMO Its better to mince up the food anyway, small raw marine foods minced finely. Then you can administer it to the entire tank. The clown will go on his way to gobble up what he can. At that time you can squirt some of the food into the anemone. Small minced pieces are more beneficial to the anemone and will aid in helping you successfully feed it.

+1
Minced shrimp, crab meat, clam, a little oyster, mahi mahi, etc. are great for minced food. It's better to use a blender and mix everything together.
Make sure that you don't overfeed your tank though!!

ok, I'll try that. But I have MORE than ample lighting, so you're saying feeding isn't necessary at all? I have two 175w 10k MH's one 150 w 15k and three 55w 50/50's actinics.
Oh yeah, its a 75gallon tank
