Feeding a Ric

Do I need to feed a ricordea? It got some food on it and shut up, looked awful but the food never went near any of it's mouthes. If I put some krill or mysis on it will it irritate it or eat it?

ric florida or yuma?
Either way they should be fine on their own. The Yuma just likes more light. They will accept plankton I'm told, I've never fed mine though.

They will eat some mysis from time to time. I think it depends on the individual though. I have 5 in my tank and 3 will eat instantly if I drop a mysis on it and the other two don't even flinch.

If somthing happens by they wont turn it down. But its not a necessity, and they can do just fine with filter feeding and light.

At the time he was not real big, about 1/ and1/2 inches across. We had just put a tiny little Dwarf Angel about 1/2 inch long in the DT, (about as small as I had ever seen.) Well the next morning the Anglel was no where to be found but the Ric. looked like the second shot.
