Feeding aggressives (food type and interval)?

I'm maturing a 65 gallon w/ three damsels, and I'm planning on making this an aggressive setup. My likely fish choices are a dwarf lion, a small puffer (valentine?), and a humu trigger. Do any of you have any advice on food types for this bunch, and how often they should be fed? Just as an aside- would it be a good idea to get rid of the damsels when I put the lion in? I have a 3 stripe, a domino, and a yellow-tail. Thanks in advance!!!

IMO the humu trigger will not work in this set up. Eventually he will go after the valintini puffer, and may pick at the lion given such close quarters. I hate to sound discouraging, but a 65g is a little small for the trigger. You still have lots of other options as far as a suitable tankmate. I personally would add some species of eel such as a goldentail or snowflake. As far as feeding goes, i feed my aggressives twice a day with frozen krill, chopped squid, mussel, and silversides. once a week i soak their frozen food in Garlic Elixer by EcoSystem aquarium. This prevents many parasites such as ick, as well as being anti-bacterial and anti-fungal And maintains overall health.

i usually feed my fish every other day. i feed freeze dired krill, frozen mysis, silversides, squid, clam, live brine, trigger/agressive formula, and the very occasional live feeders. as for fish, drop the humu and add an eel of some sort (i really like goldentails). agressives will usually eat just about anything though. bo

In my case I do once a day feedings as with many tanks it works better for me time wise. The fish eat better and seem healthier then when I did 2 times a day but I have no proof that it really makes a difference. Some experts say skipping one day a week is also good to do (sometimes I do it but not often). As it was stated fish in the wild do not always eat every day so in a tank it does no harm. I use many foods such as;
Frozen Krill & Squid
Frozen Formula 1 & 2 Cubes and Angel Formula
Frozen Silversides
Frozen Mysis Shrimp
Live Brine Shrimp
Live Blackworms
Frozen Lifeline Green (flat packs and/or Cubes)
Some Flakes but not often (Formula 1 & 2 & brine shrimp Flakes)
Tetra Min Tablets and Shrimp Pellets
As I have said before I should eat as well as my fish do.
