depends on how big you want it to grow. yes, you can over feed it but it will just spit out what it doesnt want. (had one spit out a nice long piece of fresh fish). then your clean up crew will get a nice surprise
I've heard that you should be a bit careful about feeding them stuff that is too large. I feed mine the same mixture of ground up shrimp and scallops that everything else in my tank gets. Seems to be doing very well and growing.
