Feeding Bangii

Hi group:
I've had a bangii cardinal for about a week . It seemed to feed originally on live brine. Now if I try any frozen food it swims up to the food as though it is interested but it has not eaten for 2 days. Any suggestions? Garlic?

soaking in garlic might help, but you might have to get some live brine in the mean time to help him along, while you slowly try to get him to eat frozen.
also try mysis shrimp alot larger and better food overall for the cardinal.

banggais prefer meaty foods, not cubes or flakes. You can try mysid shrimps, frozen brine, small chunks of gulf shrimp, etc. These fish usually have to figure out that the dead prepared foods are infact edible, give him more time and keep trying

Like Frank said, keep trying but just give him one shot at it per day. They can go 3 or 4 weeks without food so there's no hurry.
