Feeding clownfish

Hey guys just feeding my clownfish for the first few times. So I have 2 clowns (and a random leather frag my friend gave me lol..). I feed the two juvenile clowns daily.

So I'm feeding 4-6 SMALL omega one pellets crushed up (they can't swallow them whole) a day.

Every 2-3 days I want to feed frozen mysis. So I cut 1/3 of a cube, rinsed in RoDI, netted it and chucked it in the tank and it went everywhere!! The clownfish couldn't eat it all. So I netted the excess which took me 15mins.

What I'm wondering is how many pellets equals a cube of mysis in terms of nutritional content? Am I ok to leave that mysis floating in there for my coral and macroalgae to break down/feed on? Or should I only feed how much they can eat?
In which case it would be like 1/8th of a cube of mysis.

Also they're picky about the mysis they spit out 10 pieces for every one they eat. The pellet pieces they eat them all. They're tank bred.

I assume they are pretty small. You might try spirulina brine, they are smaller and might be a better start. I've never had an issue with my clown eating. I do see fish, all type, take in a piece of food then spit it out and try for another. Since they are eating pellets you don't have to worry about them starving.
Another thought, it could be the mysis are still cold or partly frozen and they don't like that. I let mine thaw for a half hour or so in a net then rinse in RO then add to the tank.

+1 on spirulina or other brine

I thaw my cubes in tank water for about and pour it in.

My medium size picasso doesn't even like mysis that much. I think he chews it to get some of the meat but spits the rest out.

I'm pretty new to this too, but my clown won't touch mysis at all. He eats brine shrimp like a little pig though!

I decreases feeding amounts and started feeding alternate Days because they're tiny fish.

Now they're hungry when they eat and they eat everything haha
