Feeding Corals Dried Foods....?

Just curious if there is anything good or bad to this. I have a half dead bubble im trying to save and the only thing i can get in its mouth are the sinking general saltfish food pellets i have. He responded to them but i wonder if they are good for him or not... I have seen my other corals eat these with no adverse effects. Just wondering.... I probably answered my own question, guess i need validation from others :)

I don't know about "freeze dried", but if you take the thawed out frozen krill and "squeeze" it under water they expell the air that makes them "float" and will sink or stay on the bottom/on coral if their not in too aggressive a water flow.

AHHHHH... Great idea... Didn't think of that. Ill try it. I have some store bought shrimp that will stay on the bottom too that i'm thawing out. I'll try that in a day or so....

HAHAHA. Funny. I have some frag pieces if you need something to fill you out. I have three newly based pieces of my kenya tree coral. Plus i split up the caulastrae i glued together originally, broke a nub off the monti digi accidentally.
Question does your hammer grow little nubs at the base of the main branches? I have 2 such little nubs that look like miniature branches......

I feed my corals with small pieces of fresh shrimps from the grocery store and they love it. It's much cheaper too to buy it from the grocery store.

the freeze dried krill works the same way as mentioned above...just squeeze hard under water to expell air and it will sink!
Hey kip or anyone else for that matter......have any of you all tried the Zooplankton manufactured by a coompany called Sweetwater? we just ordered a case at the shop i work at and was wondering if any of you all used it at all!
thanks, sorry to butt in on a post!

Try it near sps too. The smaller particles will be absorbed by the polyps.... EVERYONE loves zooplankton :)
