Feeding Corals

Simple question, how do you feed corals? Or a better question , what do you feed them, or do you just put something in the water or what? I don't have any corals yet for my nano reef but I am trying to find out a lot about them before buying any. Does anyone know of a good site that gives a lot of information about hard corals? Thanks

Different corals feed on different things. Some get their energy from the lighting, or rather the alage that live inside them leak sugars to the coral as a product of photosynthesis. Other corals need to filter nutrients out of the water, in which you can supply them with a good filter-feeding liquid, such as DT's Phytoplankton. Some corals even eat meaty foods, such as elephant ear mushroom corals. These you can feed chunks of just about any meaty food, such as squid, clam, etc.
