feeding cucumbers?

:thinking: Today, while at PetSmart in Pueblo, Colorado, was looking at the fresh water tanks, they all had about a 1/4th of a cucumber in the tanks, attached to a weight, and the fish (ALL of the fish) were going Crazy eating the cucumbers........... wondering.........do salt water fish eat cukes also??? Any ideas or thoughts here?

im not sure but i know that my FW fish love cucumber, especially the bottom feeders.

Thanks for the quick reply, but how about salt fish eating cukes??? any thoughts????? BTW it was so awesome to see how those fish were devouring cukes like they were chocolate!:happyfish

They might eat it but there's no nutritional value. Stick with nori or seaweed selects. :happyfish:
