Feeding Frozen Food

I have been feeding my fish with flake food, and recently decided to suppliment their diet with frozen food. Is there a particular approach to preparig the frozen cubes. Or do you just drop them in?

I thaw them in a small cup with alittle bit of tank water then drain the water through a coffee filter to get all the water off. put it back in the cup and add enough of the tank water so that it makes the foods fluid again and feed.
throwing the food directly in the tank can cause 2 problems when the fish try to eat the frozen foods the temp change can hurt them to some frozen foods have phosphates in them and can cause algae problems.

its very possible and if it was just after you added then I would say that is what you got in the frozen foods.

ok so that method makes sence. However, I dont understand why would you want to re wet the food before you put it in the tank?

I use a turkey baster to put the food in so I can target the corals and slower fish when I feed.

What kind of frozen food are you using? I place the frozen into a cup with a small amount of tank water, add my vitamines, let them soak for ten minutes then add them to the tank. If you have inhabitants that need to be spot fed then use the baster.
