i recently began feeding my tank san francisco brand marine cuisine...when i drop the cube into my tank it appears to make a real mess!! bits and pieces fly everywhere....is this how it is supposed to be...i mean i do not see any way around it but it seems as though much more is wasted and sinks to the bottom which i would imagine would just pollute the water....am i doing something wrong?

I get the same thing but thats why I keep a huge clean-up cew. Try breaking up the food before you put it in the water.

I am fairly new to the hobby, but I recently bought a feeding clamp I have been putting the frozen food in there it holds it togeather pretty well, might not work with bigger fish cause the holes are only so big.

I defrost my frozen food first in a cup of tankwater. That way I can control how much I pour in, and how fast I pour it in.
