to feed frozen foods for small fish mix the cube in fresh water or DT water (salt)?
Thanks. Or are you better of dropping it in whole ?

defrost the portion of the food you want to use in a small amount of water from your DT, thats how i defrost mysis shrimp, and after spot feeding my BTA, I just pour the rest in the tank.

What purpose does defrosting it first serve? If I drop a small bit of frozen food in my tank it pretty much melts right away. It barely has a chance to do anything before my fish grab it.

I usually just put the cube in my take and it gets broken apart by the filter or I put it in a cup of my DT water and swish it around for a little bit.

I would assume breaking it up enables all the fish to get the food instead of your tank bully. It might also help prevent fights, I dunno
