I have been reading up on refugium and I am finaly going to make one I read on a site about a feeding fuge that you put above you display tank and let gravity take the water back to the display I asume that it is so pods don't have to go into the pump. what are some other things that i should put in a feeding fuge?

I had one set up this way on my old tank. You want, a sandbed, some LR and Macro Algae. If your main goal is pod reproduction then you want low flow through the fuge. You will need a light on the fuge for your algae and a small power head in the fuge for some water movement.

so how low of a flow 50gph. also do i need alot of water movement. how about shrimp, something that breeds and reproduces quickly

I'm trying the same thing. I'll have to drill some holes first. Any ideas where they should be placed. The feed line will be higher to avoid back siphoning. I might do the holes off the back side panel. Are any dividers needed?
I didn't know shrimp reproduce easily. Which kinds? Thanks.
