My wife recently bought me a live rock with mushrooms and feather-dusters on it. How do I properly feed and care for them? Thanks for any replies. :p

I also have a duster and some shrooms. All I provide is Kent Marine phytoplankton(every day or so) and a small dose of iodine(monthly) and they seem to be doing fine.

Fred K,
I add Reef Solutions about twice a week for the mushrooms, and feather dusters are filter feeders, so most any type of phytoplankton will do for them. The mushrooms more than likely will do ok just with good lighting and water, but the iodine does help.

Kelly is right on the money. The shrooms will love the reef solutions. And the feather dusters will eat any ole' phytoplankton. I use kent marines phytoplex as well.Iodine is good for them and most corals but be careful. It's not hard to over dose and it can kill fish when not used carefully.
