Feeding mushrooms & polyps

Just bought some Kent additives from a store that had stopped selling marines. I got them for 1/4 of normal price.
Some stuff is for filter feeders. I have feather dusters, mMshrooms and Orange Button polyps. Is it worth target feeding these now and then or do the shrooms and polyps not need it?

I don't usually direct feed the phytoplankton stuff, I just turn off my skimmer and let it float around for about an hour. I do direct feed my yellow ployps and hairy mushrooms, I use a syringe and squirt some brine shrimp at them and they eat it up. I do it about once a week.

Be careful when using additives. A good rule is to never add any supplement unless you know, through testing, you have a need for it. As far as the filter feeder stuff I am assuming that it's either Phytoplankton or Micro-Vert. Depending on how many filter feeders you have in your tank, use these sparingly. I have used both of these products, they're not the best, but they are OK.

Also, be carefull with the amount due to the fact that too much can lead to higher nitrate levels..
I never feed anything directly. I always figure they get enough floating by..

whenever you decide to pop some off...let me know
How do i do that???? I live in England, if you are ever passing come and pop some :D
I have only fed them once with the stuff mentioned in this thread by using a tiny bit in a test kit pipette and target feeding.
Not sure wether to continue as feedback isn't that positive.
