Feeding Problems

Hey i have been a really hard time feeding my fish, origianally the food i bought was to big for the fish to eat so i bought smaller pellets, now when i drop the pellets in it goes straight to the filter, any advice on what to do?????

Use a variety of frozen foods. I don't feed pellets and only feed flake food every now and then. I switch between 6 different foods. I also turn off my filters during feeding.

Turn off your power heads and filters when you feed. That will allow the food to sit in the water column for a bit and get consumed. Using the 2 minute rule you should be able to determine weather your over feeding or not and adjust your quantities if needed. Then turn everything back on.

it is not bad for the filter to turn them on and off everyday, that is what my main concern was.
