I got a RBTA for my birthday from my wife, Its almost 8 inches across. I got it saturday and have tried feeding it raw krill every day and it doesnt seem interested....
Am i doing something wrong?
What should i be feeding it?
my rbta's like pieces of squid that i get frozen from my lfsa and cut into little chuncks.... i place them in this tentacles and they take it.... there grip is not as strong as my LTA's so i have to kinda put it on my feeding stick losely so that way it comes off easy when i touch the RBTA.... i also have a tomato clown that host in them and the 2 RBTA's are right next to each other in my tank well the clown will grab floating krill that i will drop in the tank and take them back to the RBTA's and spit them out into there tentacles.... kinda a cool behavior to watch so sometimes i just drop the krill in the tank and sometimes i feed them squid....
good luck!
well my maroon better get his act together he tries to eat the krill himself!
where can i get a feeding stick? right now iv been trying with my hand and or a turkey baster
feeding with your hand is good, because you can brush the anemones tentacles to give it the feeling that it caught something, and it'll be more natural for him. That may help you to get him to eat.
