Feeding Shrimp

Trying to figure out the best way to feed my one and only resident right now...a Fire Shrimp.
My LFS gave me some flake, but with the circulation in my tank, I wonder how it will sink to him.
Am I over-analyzing? Do you just drop a couple of flakes in (twice a week) and call it a day? <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

My Cleaner Shrimp and CBS both eat flake, brine shrimp, Blood Worms..etc. They eat when my fish eat basically they are scavengers.

I feed mine with a pair of tongs and silversides dry flake food blood worms ect.
I was wondering how long they can live?

Hand feed them, mine loves to be fed silversides or anythign else! I feed him directly once or twice a week.
