feeding small SFE

So after years of taking brackish SF eels (the brown common ones) and acclimating them to salt, I've picked up a marine SFE for a tank all to himself.
Eventually I will move the SFE into a tank with my 16 inch brown moray.
The SFE is very small, I'm wondering what to feed it. The LFS said he was eating small guppies but I would rather not feed it live freshwaters. So any advice on getting him eating and switched over to frozens.
Thanks a lot, pics coming as soon as I find him.

also for anyone who reads this how much of a bioload does one add what would a 2ft sfe compare to a fish

Small pieces of krill will work. When mine was small I would feed him squid tenticles. He would eat those up like candy. As for the bio load, That would depend on what you feed him. If you feed a sfe every few days, then the load will be much lower than someone who is feeding theirs everyday. I would say that the load would be simular to that of a 6" grouper feed around the same amount. If you feed to much they grow to fast and put more strain on the bio load. Just keep the water skimmed and pick up any food left over and you should be fine.

My friends was great, a small 6 inch one, we fed it LIVE FRESHWATER GOLDFISH, I was surprised it could eat something bigger then its own body...
We would put a pick, which is a long pointy stick, threw the goldfishes mouth, and place it in the tank right next to the exit of his rock, almost imediately the SnowFlack EEL would come out and then bite it and take it in his hole, you then would see some blood and pieces of the fish, very small, like a sprinkle of its shinny color, go in the water, it was fun feeding it,
later we feed it groupies...
well we don't know what went wrong, because like i stated in the other thread, it committed suicide just yesterday.
My friend woke up in the morning and saw it on his floor.
peace

I avoid feeding freshwater feeders to my eels. They tened to have zero nutritional value, and they're full of bacteria from being kept in tanks with a hundred other freshwater feeders.
That being said, i do feed my large moray a goldfish or two once in a while, if we have company.:D
