Feeding Time

I feed my fishes once a day and I try not to put too much food. I like them to be a little "hungry". Too much food waste may also result in ammonia unless you have a good cleanup crew. What kind of tank, fishes and setup do you have?

I feed 3 times a day, when I do feed them I make sure I don't feed them to much. I have triggerfish, so they pretty much eat everything, but they are messy. You should feed them around one to three times a day. Not that much though because you dont want high nitrites, nitrates, and ammonia.

I have a 7inch mappa puffer and I just got him on a regular diet. Once a day 5 to 6 different foods that I rotate.
You should feed your fish around your schdule. If your not home much as I am, feed once maybe twice a day. If you start feeding two to three times a day and can't stay consistent it may cause stress on your fish. The more times you feed per day the smaller the portions and vice-versa.

I use to feed a small breakfast and a small dinner, now I just do a big dinner and let them snack on whatever they find living in the tank.
