Feeding trouble

Ok.. i bought a long nose butterfly over teh weekend, and hes doing great!! Theonly thing is i can only get him to eat brine shrimp!!!

I know theres no nutritional value in it.... hes tried other food (I feed shrimp and salmon to my crabs and shrimp....)but wont touch it... Any suggestions??

Until you can wean him over you should soak the brine shrimp in selcon, so that he will get some nutrition from that! It might be kinda hard to wean him over though, as butterflies are finicky eaters. But nothing beats seeing the lfs feed the fish, something other than brine shrimp, to make sure all is well! you could try frozen plankton its small like brine.my threadfin loves chopped squid too.

salmon !! You can try to mix frozen mysis shrimp in with the brine and if it works then just the mysis.

BLOOD WORMS!!! hell eat them..... Actually.. kinda loves them... are they ne better??

I dont quess theres any thing wrong with feeding salmon. It just suprised me. Dont here alot of ppl. useing it . Bloodworms are better than brine yes, Vitamin enriched brine or mysis is good. Variety is best, the more you can find it will eat the better.
