feeding yellow polyps?

Is it true that they have to be spot fed? My local lfs just told me to mix some of this zoo formula with some water every other day and put it in. If i have to spot feed, what do i use and how do i do it? Thanks

no..there is no need to feed them. you sure you where not confused with a Sun Coral...You have to spot feed each one of those heads cause they are not photosynthetic.

hmmm..I just read you have to spot feed them...I never knew that..I thought they where part of the Zoa family and just was photosynthetic as well.

these are what I was thinking of...I thought they where photo feeders.

They are Photosynthetic but they are not Zoanthids. They are Colonial Anemone. To grow they must have food.

Thanks for the help, i think what i am putting in the water is fine then. That sun coral is sweet though!
