Plans have been put into action on my Tessie tank. I have called tenecor. Im going with the 96x24x24 240 gallon
I just got a new house. The tank should be here soon enough. It will take me about a year a building and buying thinsg for it.
Anyway. How do you all feed your big eels? I saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxGWg...eature=related and its cool as hell but is it recommended

I wouldn't recommend feeding them any freshwater feeders like goldfish or mollies. They are high in fat and provide little nutritional value. Feed frozen sea foods like shrimp, scallops, silversides, etc. with a plastic skewer or better yet, plastic tongs.

Depending on how aggressive the feed I either feed tem by hand (YOU MUST BE QUICK) or I use a skewer to stick feed them.
NO FW FISH...raw uncooked fish strips and shrimp.

By hand feed I old the tip of the tail of the shrimp and when he gets within inches I let it go.
The body of the shrimp in the water and the tail out of the water over hanging the edge of the tank.
After my Snowflake swallowing several inches of a plastic feeding stick I'm just a little fearful of stabbing my eat or hurting him with the stick.

I stuff frozen sea food on the end of a plastic skewer/feeding stick and spot feed them... The end of my stick is covered in gashes and chewed up alot...

My SFE just comes to the top of the tank for his Krill, but that is how he was feed at the place that I baught him... and then he was just a hatchling.
