Feeding???

How often do you feed your fish?I ffed mine 3 times a day like i was told from a book. Is that to much?

That is what I started out feeding mine, but now I feed every-other day, depending on the fish or invertebrate. I mainly did that to keep nitrates down and plenty of recommendations from these message boards.

I feed mine twice a day, once when i get up and once when i go to bed.

Was feeding 2x a day. Nitrates are increasing so i'm cutting back to once. My fish are Herbivores so they can forage on some algae if they have to. I may try every other day to if some of you are having success.

every other day, sometimes every 3 days, my fish are troopers.

2x a day once in the morn and once about 5 or 6 nitrates are at 0.but i dont feed more then my fish can eat.

I feed once a day. At night, like 5 or 6. This keeps my nitrates and more importantly my phospate levels in check. I notice my tangs from time to time eating algea and some of the others do the same. I feel this works best for me. Good luck
