feeding

Hi, can anyone help me n this simple matter
I have a 30g tank with two clown fish both about 1 inch big, a purple fire fish, two cleaner shirmps, and a zebra goby i feed them frozen food!!!!!!!!!! but i just dont know how much at the momet im cutting the cubes in half and feeding them once a day on this, should i increase this amount to a whole cube or am i ok with half, i will be adding one Jewel damsel and one flame angel then that will be the tank complete, do you think i should increase the fish food now or wait till there all in there as its hard to see if there eating all the food now

Feed as much as they can eat in 3 minutes. No more than that. I would think less than half of a cube.

i think even 3 minutes is alot. think of their tiny stomachs. not much bigger than a BB at 1 inch. if you fed them something the size of a pea, that would be more than enough.

Generally it is better to feed them food in little portions if they eat it up in a few seconds, add more. My clowns are going through puberty now and the female is always ramming (for lack of a better word) the male and preventing him from getting food (is she a female yet? or does it happen after they stop fighting?)

I think half cube is more than enough for now. U can slowly increase the portion as the bioload increases, I'm assuming Nitrates are low or undetectable..

After they stop fighting and reconciliate ..Right now they're sizing each other up, to see wich one is going to change teams....

Change teams? Never heard anyone put it that way. Thanks. How long does this process take? It is very light right now. "The future she" just pecks at him every once in a while and not very hard, it doesn't cause him harm. Can I expect it to get worse? Or is just going to be light like this?

It should get a little brisker, almost as if they are fighting for territory.. As the environment continues stable , and body temperature rises & bodies colide. One of them would give way(mostlikely the future she). At this point they will start to reconciliate, and they will go back to the fourplay and finally spawning..(ETA2-5 weeks)..
