He wouldn't have told anyone that he was up for the post had they found out. The way I understand it is that you get this list of people, look into them to find out stuff like this, then tell people who you picked. Maybe I'm wrong, but with all of these nominations falling on their face, I'm starting to wonder....
Yeah, I'm of the opinion they found something out, and it got whispered to the press by some leaker...

Yes he was. And now she has a PAC out to see if she should run in 2012! If I were you republicans, I would do everything in my power to make sure she doesn't get nominated.
As for Obama, I'll give him a little more time, but if this crap keeps happening, I don't know...
All the encouragement I need. Those republican monkeys nominated a middle of the road to leftist republican, and a lot of good that did him. Go Palin

Hope Palin does try to run in '12. At least then we'll know the Democrats will be in office for another 4 years.

Funny you say that as Palin has more executive experience than Obama. It is showing in his decisions. Adding a trillion dollars to our national debt puts my grandkids in jeopardy.

You mock her, but she is the one of the only states without a budget deficit... Find me a democrat smart enough not to overspend...

Have you been worried about this for the last 8 years?
I agree with you, but I'm just asking, as I was using that argument for a while now as the reason we shouldn't have major tax cuts during war time.

So why was she in Washington asking for her share of the bailout?

I've seen that referenced in one line on one news article. I basically dismissed it.
I saw it on CNN, it was part of the whole Republican Governors pushing for the bailout thing. So, I guess it could be wrong.
I just really don't think she could win at all, as from what I can tell, she has no support from anyone except extreme right wing voters, and that won't win an election. Personally, I would be looking for someone like Jindal, etc.

She has a hell of a lot more than the "extreme right wing" supporting her. With the hatchet job the corrupt media did on her I doubt she would be a viable presidential candidate in the near future but she could be a major party fundraiser and easily demolish the Democrat that got the senate seat by default when Stevens was indicted. She's going to be a power within the party.

Politically speaking that is a conundrum. If you ask, you'll tick off possibly future voters. If you don't ask, you'll tick off voters at home. Gotta bring the pork home in the current system. Both parties do their best to bring home the pork. And that is what this bill basically is.
Now, imo, what better way to completely destroy her, than to highlight her going on a trip to washington to get pork. Lord knows all the other bs stories that they ran about her. So why not marginalize her once and for all. Cried wolf one to many times imo.

Ok, so give her all the republicans (which I know isn't a fact, most republicans I know hate her, and voted for a third party mostly b/c of her), still not enough to win an election.
Oh, I'm sure she could be a senator, I'm not disputing that. In fact, I think that would be the best progression for her political career. Spend a couple terms in the Senate or House, then go for it. People will probably have a different opinion of her then. Oh, and she should knock the arrogance down a notch or two, that might help as well.

Conundrum is the best word to describe the situation. I understand why she would be for it, but it was funny to listen to her rant about pork and then this.... However, to be fair, it is also kinda funny to listen to Obama changing Washington, and then this....

Actually, I just realized its on the Sunday Front Page of both the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star. I have them both laying around due to the job search and I just happened to look down, and there it was. It talks about Palin in the 3rd paragraph.

People's perceptions blow me away.
How do you get arrogant out of her? But don't get arrogant out of Biden and Obama?

I was thinking the same thing, but was going to add in Pelosi as well.

Did you listen to her talk? Any of the speeches she gave? The VP debate? I don't see how you couldn't think she is arrogant.

wow, some times I've gotta wonder.
Party positions aside, I think you're nuts.

Could it be the fact she was not speaking LIKE a career POLITICAN maybe someone that has worked and someone that knows what it means to have kids and also be with them instead of handing them to the nannies and going HERE you go you take them. Also the fact that she also never forgot were she came from and speaks to the people instead of DOWN TO US like Obama did. She used words like WE can instead of I am going to CHANGE. She was saying all of America needs to Change what is going on in Washington NOT JUST THE PRESIDENT.

It has nothing to do with what she was saying, but rather how
she said it. I am sure she is a smart woman, just the way she talked reminded me of Hilary and how she said things. I don't like her either. Pelosi is too much of an idiot to act arrogant, it is ignorance.

Actually, I think it was just the opposite. But I suppose all of your clips are from Fox and all of mine were from CNN....could make a difference.
