Finally got a pic of my new emerald crab, I call Ghost. George the maroon perc and Gracey the Peppermint shrimp.

yes I have a hair algae problem (working on it) but those pics were taken at night with only a flash for light. So they look darker then they really are..here is day shot.

Very nice! I'm glad to see other people name things in their tank. EVERYTHING in my tank has a name. The coral, the rocks, the snails the feather duster, I even named my whole tank Mars. My husband thinks I'm crazy.

2 kinds of xenia
2 kinds of polyps
2 kind of mushrooms
a candy cane (not doing well)
a recovering bubble coral
marron perc
emerald crab
perppermint shrinp
10-12 snails of different kinds
10 hermits
12 gal jbj with 24w lighting(stock on 2004 model)
3 spomges in 1st chamber
purigen and heater in second
pump (standard) and phosban in third
cassette looking skimmer attached to intake
getting ready to upgrade the lights to at least doule watts
got a maxi jet 900 and hydor flow wave maker on order
think that is it
I only use RO water (from walmart)
had a hair algae problem but it is clearing up
great tank I wish my fresh water 55 gal was so clear and easy to keep clean
