Hey Guys*,
I just thought I'd post some pics now and a few pics after I rearrange the tank in a few weeks.
Here's my current setup:
20 gallonTank + 5.5g Sump w/siphon
CC Substrate
15lbs LR/12 lbs BR
Coralife SS 65
HOB Filter
Strainer Filter
130W Current Lights (1x65W Dual Daylight + 1x65 Dual Actinic)
Live Stock:
Green Clown Goby
Red Headed Goby
False Perc
6 Hermits
3 Nass. Snails
3 Persian Sand Conchs (Thinking they were Nass. Snails:2$ a piece)
LTA
Corals:
Green Zoos
Red Shrooms
Star Polyps
In the next month, I'd like to do the following:
1. Drill the spare 20 I got from a friend so I can install an internal overflow and move the sump down to the floor. Also Spray Paint the back and bottom of the new tank black.
2. Build a new sump out of a Rubbermaid, including some sort of wet/dry filter.
3. Install an in-line filter in the return line.
4. Get about 6 more lbs of LR.
5. Get another fish (sixline or firefish) after everything else is done and everything's come back to equilibrium.
6. Get a couple of porcelain crabs (maybe one to host the LTA)
7. Pick up some frogspawn and maybe a toadstool.
8. Make the 5.5 my new QT.
Let me know what you guys* think of the current tank and the new plans. If anyone has any ideas (or pics) about the best type of overflow to install, let me know. Also, if there are any comments about the setup/livestock don't be shy.
Just Kidding, I know that noone's shy around hmere.
