Field Hockey question

I have to buy my daughter a field hockey stick. She is in 5th grade (no i dont know how tall she is). I have no clue what to buy, what size to buy, what shape of the blade. This is only for a recreation league, she never played before.
anyone have any field hockey experience?

Does she have an experienced coach that you could ask? Since he isn't selling them, he / she should give you an unbiased opinion on a brand and model for her skill level.
