Anyone watch the semi-final match yesterday? Awesome to see the US team take down Spain, 2-0.
In case your not in the know about International Soccer,
Spain is #1 in the world, and they are one of the best teams in history. They had not lost a soccer match in over 35 games, the last loss on November 2006
, with 15 straight wins.
But it was a miracle the US team was even there. In the final matches before elimination, they had to beat the Egypt by 3 goals, and have Brazil beat Italy by 3 goals to advance. Nuts...

The other match ended a couple hours ago. Brazil hit a 87th minute penalty shot for the win, 1-0, against South Africa. The final will be Sunday @ 2:30pm.

A great game to watch with Todd Howard "standing on his head", don't think "American Soccer Fan" should read too much into this, Spain dominated the game, just couldn't find the net, this doesn't make team USA a "world power" in Soccer. I'm excited for the final nonetheless.
