fighting conch spot feeding ?

bought a fighting conch to clean up diatoms on the sand bed and it did a super job. my question is what should i spot feed it so it doesnt starve. algae strips? if so what kind?

I have 4 in my 225G...I have never spot fed them....I hope they don't starve....BUT I think I should have plenty for it toeat
so My answer to you question is.....I don;t spot feed mine, and they seem to be fine
OHHHHH I have had them since May of this year

That's odd... I must have an edit open somehwere. I grew one to a big ole size. The tank has to be big enough to sustain them.

Unfortunately, you can't really spot feed a conch with anything. They often starve in our tanks.

Have had my Florida fighting conch for abou 11 months now and it is doing fine. Always crawling around the sandbed, sucking up what ever it is they go for off the sand particles. Great critter, hasn't grown much I don't think. Stays on the sand never on the rocks or glass. Sometimes he buries in the sand, don't know if he is looking for food down there too or if that is just something the do once in a while.
