Figure8 puffers

Got a few of these guys last weekend (figure 8 puffer)- doing well- i keep them in brackish water- just enough salt to taste when doing water changes- they get about 2 1/2 'max- there was an article about freshwater/brackish puffers in the newest issue of Aquarium Fish mag

I actually had one like that a few years ago, it was called a green spot puffer but it looks about the same. Mine was in my salt water tank with a dwarf lion and an eel. I've seen them at ***** in the freshwater section but I was told you can slowly acclimated them to full salt water if you slowly add a little salt at a time. Not sure how long it takes tho, but they are cool, small fish.

I have two green spotted puffers in my 100 gallon fw cichlid tank.
I have been told they can completely go salt or fresh.
For breeding, the natural brrakish should be obtained though
