Fiji blue devils

Hi all i just got 2 Fiji blue devils also known as south seas devil damselfish .. now my question is this ... would i be able to put a yellow tang and a coral beauty in the same tank as them .. the tank is a 55 gal ... and if not what can go with them ... thanks all

i would not recommand the tang, the tank is too small, as for the damsels if you really want to keep them, before intorducing the new fish move the rocks or display in your tank into different locations therefore you broke there terrioty and it should be fine, but becareful because demsels are very aggressive. i tried keeping my demsels but it just was not worth thr time.
 
thanks guys ... i was wondering though if i took one of them out and there was only one in the tank would a coral beauty be ok or is it best to just cut my losses and ditch em both .. i kinda like them though .. i was thinking of putting one in my reef ... not to worried about it nipping any corals .. i dont have any yet .. thanks all
 
I am suprised you have two in the same tank, they normally do not do good in pairs. IMO i would return both, you will have less headaches later on down the road.

imo i would get rid of them, they definitely earn the name "blue devil" if you want to keep a similar fish, the yellow tail damsel is often less aggressive, or even a better choice would be either a blue or green chromis (both of which are very peaceful) hth.
