The florida rocks has more hitch hikers, but some of them can be bad. I stopped buying florida rock since it always has lots of macro algae on it. I did get 3 brains on one rock though :D

I have live Florida rock because it was cheaper than the Fiji so I was able to get more. But in my opinion the Fiji is way prettier. Although I did get a good bit of anemones, hawaiian feather dusters (little baby ones), shaving brush plants, money plants, Star Polyups, snails, starfish, an urchin, and a crab. I also had some coral which died because I did not have the proper lighting at the time I boucht my rocks but I have since upgraded my lighting. I also have a few patches of coraline algae. That was 2 months ago and I am still finding new stuff in my rocks. I just found what I think might be a sea bunny or a nudibranch yesterday.

Well, i terms, Fiji is the best by far, because it is porous and offers more biological space and filtration. But the florida stuff does come with watever decided to grow on it when it was in the keys. I'm gonna get some soon from SWF.com. The fiji is only like $10 more I think, but I'm gonna get the florida anyway for the things that'll grow on it. There ya go i guess

I've got about ten pounds of Fiji in my tank right now and the only thing I've seen on it so far -- it's been about two months -- is a little tiny round thing that looks like it's got hairs on it (almost looks like a tiny feather duster). You guys who are saying you've found crabs, starfish, corals, anemonies, urchins... how long did it take to find these things???
I wish I could add more LR to mine right now; it's a 36 gallon and I've got three decent sized rocks in there. The stuff's so expensive, though!
