If you dont have room for a sump, best thing to get would be a protein skimmer. Dont bother with the wet dry and ditch the canister. They are nitrate factories, especially the canister. Best to get the skimmer, and maybe add a wet/dry for more surface flow, devoid of any media except a place to put carbon, phosban or other absorption materials.
