filter question

I recently set up a 55 gallon FOWLR tank and i was wondering if two 30-60 gallon filters would be good. I had them just sitting around and figured i would use them instead of spending 100 dollars on a new better one. Lemme know what you think

i would recommend a proteain skimmer in addition if you dont already have 1

Yes, that is fine. You also need a powerhead for side movement, and as mentioned a skimmer.

You can use the mechanical filters to add circulation and remove solids from the water. Of course a bigger filtration system will be more efficient.
