does this sound like enough for a 75 gal. Aqua C remora, 80 lbs of LR, 30 lbs of LS and 2 hang on filters thanks everyone

enough for what? It is all pretty subjective but most people on here would go with the Aqua C Remora "Pro" with Mag 3 or 5 pump, Emperor 400, 80 lbs sand total (you could mix some live on top of playsand), 100-150 lbs LR, 2 or 3 powerheads (maxi-jet 900's are popular). An extensive sps reef tank would require better but the above setup is pretty popular. I'm assuming your not utilizing a sump.

thanks i plan on taking your advice I want to have
2 clownfish
3-5 blue damsels
flame angle
powder blue tang
and mabey later a manderian fish
not corals to start with

what kinda of hang on filters do you have? also the tang police might come after you about the powder blue in 75

i have apenguin 350 and pengiun 300
and is that to small for a powder blue? any information would help thanks

yeah those are good filters. The tang police would say that any tang should be in 75 gallons + they are swimmers. but yellows and koles are ok in 55+ but its up to you if the powder eats fine and doesnt looked stressed then go for it check with your lfs to see if you can return him if need be

I was going to get a canister but decided against it
sorry for all the qestions I am just geting my toes wet in the hobby

Yeah that sounds good dont worry about the canister there not great for saltwater

instead of a powder blue would a naso tang fit in a 75

Generally speaking tangs should be kept in 6 foot long or longer tanks IMO. Somehow it became okay to keep yellows and Koles in smaller tanks because someone surmised they don't swim as much. I disagree with that. I did try a kole tang in a 72 and it was not happy. Some people have had success and but I think that it is the exception rather than the rule, again IMO.
