Filter sock dilema

Hey guys, i have a 120 DT with a 40 gal sump/refugium. I have a filter sock on the gravity drain into the sump with a filter sock on it. I had no idea how dirty it was going to get so i only bought 1 at the time. I have since ordered 2 more but they have not arrived yet. I plan on switching out the socks every couple of days when the new ones come i just wanted to know if you guys have any tricks to get them clean. I have been taking this one and turning it inside out and trying to clean it with hot water but it doesnt get really clean. I was thinking of using my pressure cleaner on it. Any suggestions?

i have 5 socks. i turn them inside out, and leave them in the utility sink until i have all 5 dirty(i change them out every 3 or 4 days), then i put them in the washing machine without soap. they come out fine. i've been using the same socks for about 8 months.

I just turn them inside out and blast them with the garden hose. Takes a couple of minutes and they are as good as new.
